At your church, you'll need one or more cameras, a computer, and live encoder connected to the internet. With some live encoders, a video switcher is provided. For other encoders you may want to consider a video switcher (if you use multiple cameras).
You’ll need a live encoder to do streaming video and there are many options available, both free and paid. vMix encoder, Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), Wirecast are just a few. We also support hardware encoders like Tricaster, Teradek, Webcaster X2 and many others.
At a minimum, you'll need a camera, computer with an internet connection and a means to connect your camera to your computer, depending on the live encoder you use. Based on your budget and quality requirements, your equipment expenses can vary.
